So my 4-legged, furry little Reco is already 6 months old, and we just think he's great. We enjoy a good laugh at least once a day at all the tiny things he's afraid of. Jake walked him to the gas station this morning and a plop of snow fell off a car bumper as they went by - he jumped a mile. He won't go up or down stairs for ANYTHING, so just stepping up on the curb sent him into a panic. And then as if that wasn't enough for one walk, Jake tied him to the newspaper rack for a minute which the hulk puppy promptly tipped over, causing the biggest clang and bang yet. Every hair on his body stood up on end, Jake said he looked like a big ball of fluff with huge wide eyes. He cracks us up. Who has ever seen a 60 pound chicken?! Well call the Guinness people - we live with one! He'll grow out of his fear stage soon enough, but as mean as it is, I still think its hilarious. He is done with his ear tape experience, and he is so handsome, it was worth each of the 4 weeks looking silly.
We got some good snow last night and most of the day today, and although not much stuck, he still had fun licking it up off the deck and trying to bite it right out of the sky. I laughed as a few flakes landed on his face and he took off running, frantically shaking his head as if to say, "Aagh, its getting me!"
Then he noticed me taking pictures and laughing at him, and decided to bring me a leaf. How sweet, he still loves me.
That's my boy!
Oh, Reco is adorable! I am excited to try him out as my new running partner!
